Draining an above ground pool

There are a few very important rules if you are going to attempt to drain and clean your above ground vinyl liner pool. Above ground pool liners will shrink, in both depth and perimeter, in a short amount of time.

Submersible Pump is a must

You will need to clean the sidewalls of the pool as the water  level lowers. Be careful with the placement of the submersible pump, do not use a high pressure hose to clean liner, and immediately start re filling pool when last bit of dirt is removed.
