Above ground pool closed, but not forgotten

Even though winter has brought an end to the swimming season, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you aren’t remembering the fun of last summer and thinking ahead to reopening your pool next year. You may not be able to use your above ground pool right now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t prepare for the future.

The off season can be a great time to find real bargains on pool supplies and equipment. You may have noticed while you were closing your pool for the season that some of your pool equipment is starting to show its age. Now can be a good time to pick up some replacement parts at great prices. If you are thinking about upgrading or repairing some of your pool equipment, the Above Ground Pool & Spa Company will welcome the work during our slow season.

This can also be a good time to pick up some of fun things you use for your pool. Pool floats, water toys and other things of this type can make fun gifts and will be ready to use when you open up your pool next spring. Bargains on items left in inventory from last season will still work just as well when the next swimming pool season rolls around.

One word of caution, though. Some of the chemicals and test kits that you use with your pool may have a limited shelf life. Even though they may appear to be quite a bargain this time of year, they won’t be much of a bargain if they expire or don’t work as they should when you go to use them next year.
